A customized userscript for Instapaper. Works well with Fluid.
Don’t use your mouse. If you click links, it will function as it always does. To uncover the awesome, you have to use your keyboard. Just hit “h” on any page for a list of commands. I think you’ll dig it. “j” and “k” are forward and back (Google style), “o” will open a selected article in Text view. Note that when you load a text version of a page, you can still navigate through the articles in the same folder with j and k, or press “o” again to open the original article in a tab. The next/prev navigation is circular, so it will go to the top when you hit the bottom and vice versa. You can star or unstar a selected article at any time with shift-s (S). I’ll let you read about the rest.
To Install using Fluid: Go to http://brettterpstra.com/userscripts/instapaperbeyond.user.js (make sure “Allow browsing to any URL” is enabled in Advanced Preferences in Fluid.)
