Google would never put up with these kind of search results, Amazon. And neither should your customers.
I entered very clear, unambiguous search terms: 250gb USB portable in the category “external hard drives”.
Every red box in that image (click here for obnoxiously large 943x2935 pixels version) is a hard drive that does not match that criteria. There are several 500GB drives, a few 320GB, a 1 TB drive, and one 80GB drive.
80GB.
Along the side (shown in the blue box) you have given me a wide variety of options for narrowing my search parameters: Prime Eligibility, Manufacturer, Rating, Condition, Price (you even let me set my own!) and Seller.
Why aren’t there checkboxes for capacity? If you aren’t going to get the search results right (and this is not a new problem), then give me the tools to make it what I want.
Instead you’ve given me 3 pages of crap results (yes, I checked, and the second & third pages aren’t any better than this one).
I expect more from you.
