Quix is a great way to manage bookmarks, bookmarklets, and other shortcuts. You can easily add/edit your own using a plain text file.
I use the Tumblr Queue all the time and I wanted an easy way to say “I want to create a new Text Post that will be queued, and after it’s created, I want you to show me the queue so I can see what’s in there.”
So I made a Quix shortcut. Now when I type ‘tqt’ my browser will take me to the page to create a {T}umblr {Q}ueued {T}ext post. Here’s one line from my Quix file:
tqt http://www.tumblr.com/new/text?post%5Bstate%5D=2&redirect_to=%2Fqueue Tumblr Queue Text
And then I duplicated that for videos, pictures, links, audio posts, and quotes.
I also went ahead and made similar shortcuts for the drafts folder, so ‘tdt’ will create a Tumblr Draft Text post.
Finally, to do along with those, I made some shortcuts to go directly to certain places. For example, typing ‘tq’ will take me to the Tumblr Queue, ‘td’ will take me to the Tumblr dashboard, and so on.
All of my Tumblr Quix shortcuts are available in a text file.
